On Sunday 20th June, Sensei Richard Scoot 4th Dan invited nine times World Karate Champion Sensei Wayne Otto OBE to his Sandy Shotokan Karate Club. Over 80 students took part in the course in which Sensei Wayne Otto demonstrated and taught many of the techniques that made him kumite world champion.

The course was held over two sessions and everyone trained with great spirit and enthusiasm. The course was attended by Sensei Mike Nursey 8th Dan, Chief Instructor of the English Shotokan Karate Association.
